By evening, return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Jaipur.
Location 1: Hawa Mahal
Hawa Mahal, the iconic pink sandstone palace in Jaipur, is famous for its 953 small windows or jharokhas. Designed so that royal women could observe street life without being seen, its façade resembles a delicate honeycomb. Standing in front of it, you can admire the intricate latticework and capture some stunning photos. Even a quick stop here gives a sense of Jaipur’s unique architectural style and royal past, making it a must-see on your city tour.
Location 2. Panna Meena ka Kund
Panna Meena ka Kund is a hidden gem just a short drive from Amber Fort. Its crisscrossing stairways and symmetrical design create a stunning visual, making it a favourite spot for photos. The quiet and serene atmosphere offers a nice break from the city’s bustle. You can admire the unique architecture and take in the peaceful surroundings while appreciating how this stepwell once served the local community.
Location 3: Amber Fort

Its grand courtyards, stunning halls, and intricate mirror work in the Sheesh Mahal make you feel like you’ve stepped into the royal past. For added fun, you can take an elephant ride or visit the Elephant Village, both of which are optional activities to enhance your experience.
Location 4: Jal Mahal
Jal Mahal sits gracefully in the middle of Man Sagar Lake, its sandstone walls reflecting beautifully on the water. While visitors can’t go inside, the views from the lakeside are truly mesmerising, especially during sunrise or sunset. It’s a perfect spot to take photos and enjoy a calm, peaceful moment away from the city’s bustle. You can also stroll along the lake promenade to soak in the scenery and local vibes.
Location 5: Albert Hall Museum
Located in the heart of Jaipur, Albert Hall Museum is the state museum of Rajasthan and a treat for history and art lovers. Built in 1887, it showcases an impressive collection of artifacts, including ancient paintings, carpets, jewelry, and sculptures. The Indo-Saracenic architecture makes the building itself a visual delight. Exploring the museum gives you a glimpse into Rajasthan’s rich culture and heritage, making it a perfect stop to understand the region beyond its palaces and forts.
After breakfast, we’ll leave Jaipur and drive into the Shekhawati region, famous for its beautifully painted havelis. First, we’ll visit Mandawa, exploring its stunning frescoes and historic streets that bring royal stories to life. Then, we’ll continue to Nawalgarh, known for its grand havelis and colorful architecture. Take time to wander, click photos, and soak in the artistry of the region.
